Shhh... Don't Tell Anyone this Secret About the Stir Fry at Roth Cafe

Image
The Stir Fry at Roth Cafe had always been a popular option for me. The only downside is that your vegetables are restricted to the amount of a tiny cardboard bowl. You might be a good vegetable architect who can stuff a bunch onto that little bowl but nothing will beat this secret I'm about to expose to you that I recently discovered. You are actually allowed to use more than one of the tiny cardboard bowls.   I totally understand how you feel right now. I felt the same when I saw this for the first time a few days ago too. You're welcome. I don't think many know about this secret. Now go wild on those vegetables!!! Choose any rice for a vegan meal, because according to the display, the lo mein is only vegetarian, I know, I've only realized it today too. Then tofu for the protein of course, and make sure to get no sauce if you're crazy like me (I always get weird looks when I ask for no sauce), but hey, your body will thank you in the future. If it's too pla

The Tricks for the Perfect Vegan Pasta Bowl from Tuscan Bistro of Roth Cafe

This is a relatively easy healthy vegan option if you know what you are doing. The first thing the chief will ask you is "oil or pesto?", I always choose pesto, it's made with olive oil so it should be healthier than normal oil. Next is "garlic?", that's up to you. Garlic is healthy, so despite the fact that I hate the taste of garlic, I always get it anyways. You will then choose the vegetables for your pasta, as many as you'd like. I usually get almost all of the vegetables for a well-balanced diet, except for the weird looking eggplant though. Then choose the pasta, doesn't matter which one you pick. The sauce is the most crucial part of your healthy vegan pasta, and the best sauce to get it no sauce at all since most of them have dairy in it and they put so much sauce that your pasta will be drowning in sauce, besides, the pesto already have some flavor in it, they put a lot of it. At last, ask for no meat and no cheese and you got yourself a nic

DON'T TRY THIS: California Club Garden Burger from Smash-N-Shake of Roth Cafe

Image
I said I was going to give the garden burger at Smash and Shake another chance. I ordered the Cali Club with regular buns this time. The Avocados was what caught my attention to order the Cali Club, because who doesn't like avocados? The result was a burger with a garden patty, avocados, chipotle mayo, tomatoes, and lettuce. It seemed like a very good healthy combination but all I can taste was the Chipotle Mayo and GREASE. I'm not a picky eater and it was a serious challenge for me to finish because I hate to waste food. It was one of the worst meals I've ever had. My throat felt like grease for the next couple of hours. It was not pleasant. I don't think I'll ever get anything from Smash-N-Shake ever again. So whatever you do, NEVER GET THIS!

Wolfie Attack Garden Burger (Lettuce Wrapped) from Smash-N-Shake of Roth Cafe

Image
A few days ago, I was eating at the tables of Roth Cafe, I saw a menu of the Smash-N-Shake (weird name I know) and I was surprised. I never got food from that place because I thought they only make chicken tenders and fries. But when I've looked through the menu, I saw that they offer garden burgers and the option to wrap it with lettuce, so I decided to try it out. I've only realized that that are more than one options of the garden burger when I was ordering so I just randomly picked one. "Wolf Attack sounded kinda interesting," I thought to myself, so that's what I ordered. I didn't even realize that Wolf Attack was going to have bacon and a fried egg in it until I ordered it. Turns out there are extra ingredients for these burgers shown on the left display, the one I didn't look at because I thought both sides were the same. Even the employee questioned what they were making, "really? bacon on a garden burger?" They even asked me if that&
